Interleague play continues to roll on. There will be a lot of teams seeing pitchers for the first time and anything can happen. But should we throw the numbers out the window? One stat you should not ignore: the four teams with the most wins in interleague play are the Twins, Red Sox, Yankees, and White Sox.

Mully’s Recommendations
- Scott Richmond has been dropped in many leagues which is somewhat confusing. He has still pitched well over the last couple of weeks. Richmond may have not won a game in his last three but has a 3.78 ERA and 14 K in 16.2 IP over that time. He has a tough matchup in Philly this week by still looks like a viable long-term option.
- Jeremy Sowers has been great since his re-call from the minors. He has little run-support over his last three. He has a 2.81 ERA and 10 K in 16 IP over that time. He also faces a tough matchup against the Brewers’ high powered offense but keep an eye on how he fares. If he can handle them, look at him for Week 12.
- Brian Tallet continues to surprise. He has been solid all year and is 2-0 with a 3.60 ERA over his last three starts. He also has 15 K in his last 20 IP. He has a good matchup against a sorry Washington offense this week.
- Brad Bergensen has really impressed me as of late. He has shown great control, walking only three hitters in his last 23 IP. He also has a 1.57 ERA over that time. Bergensen has to travel to Philly this week but is worth a look. Keep a close eye on him, I have a feeling that he will be a solid option the rest of the way.
- Stat of the Week: Matt Palmer, the Angels' 30-year-old rookie, is 6-0. Palmer is the first rookie in major league history over the age of 30 to start a season with six consecutive wins, all as a starter. (Elias)
