| The fantastic Dave Cameron wrote an excellent article about regression to the mean on his well known Mariners blog, U.S.S. Mariner. This is a must read, especially for those readers interesting in understanding statistical analysis concepts better. What he talks about is a common problem most sports fans have: refusing to acknowledge how much luck influences events and trying to find explanations for which there are none. There are some intelligent comments as well if you have the time to read them.
