Mr. Rusaw has recently taught us many new things about Fantasy Baseball.  Including all of the statistics involved in making up a baseball team along with the batting averages,  home runs, RBIs, and the positioning of the players, too.  This should be a new, fun way of learning about statistics, especially for those of us who like baseball.

Leith Parson

Almost every day of my statistics class, Mr. Rusaw has greeted our class with some fact about baseball: doing examples on the board with baseball statistics, telling us a story from when we played, or attempting to convey reason for his passion to lesser sports fans. So here is what I know about fantasy baseball... Our class will be divided into teams of three, competing against each other in the same league as a class project. We will be able to draft real players and based on their performance in actual games, our teams will improve or relapse into a losing season. That is what I know about fantasy baseball.

-Mr. Rusaw has told us about his fantasy baseball team in class and from his information I know that there are a lot of statistics that you look at to determine what players to use. I also know it's a large network of sports fanatics that think it's a lot of fun so I think it will be interesting to try something new.
