| Willy Taveras will not be the Reds regular for the entire season.Colorodo had a record of 106 Wins 124 loses with Taveras in the lineup and 58 Wins 37 loses without Willy. How long will it take the Reds to realize that Taveras is a better Fantasy player than MLB player? Watch Chris Dickerson Milton Bradley will hurt the Cubs pitching. Last year 4 of the Cubs pitchers finished in the top 5 in getting Run Support. Marquis (1),Dempster (3) Zambrano (4)Lilly (5) Signing Bradley with his mental and physical baggage, along with the fact that he only played 20 games in the field last year, spells disaster.I know his numbers may be close to DeRosa's or better, but those missed games will hurt. Nyger Morgan will surprise. Not only does he have great skills but he attended every voluntary off season workout held by the Pirates. If McLouth fails to sign a contract extension look for the Pirates to market him. Great skill and work ethic = good year. Pat Burrell will be Pat Burrell and that is consistency. Burrell is 1 of only 6 players in MLB to hit 20 or more HR in each of the last 8 years.Can you name the others? Brent Lillibridge can steal 25 bases. If Chris Getz needs another year look for Alexi Ramirez to stay at 2nd and Lillibridge to be the White Sox' shortstop Eric Bedard will NOT stay with Mariners If Bedard shows he is health. The rebuilding Mariners may want to rid themselvesof a contract and trade Bedard for young players..HELLO YANKEES? Anyone Agree?

If they can get Dye for Homer Bailey like we heard earlier this offseason that would be robbery for the Reds...Not a fan of Bailey. I don't know if Ken Williams goes for that.

Cincy has many potential of and lineup holes
1.Ideally Reds would like a RH bat between LH's Votto and Bruce .Phillips could be the man but Reds do not want him 3rd/ Reds were very disappointd in losing Burrell but have reopened talks with WSOX for Dye..Hairston may also be signed 1 d**kerson is not a lock to start year. a.Surgery for stress fracyure of heel b LH hitter c 32 K/s in 102 AB..seasoning needed d 17 extra base hits 102 Ab's.cant afford this, as Taveras 18 extra base hits ,is just as light.Hard to have both in lineup together

Lenny, I was under the impression that Chris Dickerson was already part of the starting OF. Bruce, Taveras and Dickerson. I wasn't aware Taveras was taking Dickerson's slot. If so, who then would be the 3rd OFer?

Mariners have a new GM who will have a grace period and will not be forced by ownership to get rid of Bedard. Seattle has shown this offseason they are not rebuilding. If they stay healthy they could still be hanging around by the July 31st trade deadline...
