| Alright, the first few are down and now we have THE GREAT DEBATER #9...Welcome Andrew Deehr
The idea of becoming a fantasy sports writer is something I've thought about in the past. With the experiences I've had from high school and beyond I'd make a great candidate for this type of position. I should be selected for the great fantasy debate for several reasons.
First, I've been playing fantasy sports since I was a freshman in high school. Going into this fantasy baseball season it will make my 15th year playing fantasy sports. I play baseball, football, and have done basketball and hockey in the past. I've also tried my hand at golf as well. But my main focus has been baseball followed by football.

This guys past is fairly similar to mine so I find it exciting. I didn't win any Northeastern Wisconsin Scholastic Press Association awards, however, as Editorial Board President of my schools newspaper I won All-KEMPA (Kettle Moraine Press Association or something like that). Went to Illinois High School Association State Finals in Sports Writing but didn't win because the story was about field hockey, which is one sport that I know nothing about (very unlike curling!).

I am the creator and owner of FantasyFootballNerd.com, a unique website devoted to applying the wisdom of the crowd to fantasy football projections. It's safe to say that I have a pretty solid understanding of the game, and Andrew has always been able to beat me to the punch with the latest news and insight. Debating him has been enjoyable but ultimately a fruitless endeavor over the past several years.
Even in this economy, I'd be willing to put money on Andrew in any contest he enters.
