Chris: \"Hey Babe, I\'ve got to do a draft tonight\".

Lori: \"Ughhhh. How long is it going to take?\"

Chris: \"About three hours.\"

Lori: \"THREE HOURS?!?!? Why in the hell does it take that long?\"

Chris: \"It just does.\"

Lori: \"Whatever, you\'re an idiot.\"

I had this exact same conversation last sunday lol.

The girlfriend has learned to deal with my obsession, it gives her plenty of time to watch stupid shows on tv. Plus she thinks the nerdiness is kind of cute.
Lucky me.

btw...still get some! :cheer: - Hotcornerhero

You wanna know what hurts the most?, when my wife calls me a nerd for playing fbb. Hey it\'s not like this is D&D, then again maybe she wouldn\'t mind so much if I ever brought home the bacon. Hope to have some home brews for the draft mick, maybe I\'ll get you wasted and stop your dominance. - DaMailman
I have to say as a female. My bfs have to put up with my love for the beautiful game of baseball and me looking over stats for my fantasy teams. They have to put up with me not coming to bed til 3 in the morning after watching a game due to being 5 hrs a head of the US. So any man that i get involved with will have to get used to it.

Jan, I think I love you.......

And Chris....I hear ya! - Boris From Downunder

They should probably focus on winning a playoff game before setting their sights on the entire round.
Ouch, that hurts, and I\'m a dodger fan. - Jonathan Strand
Chris:

You have got some damn cool women in your circle to come out and comment on here.

I don\'t even have anything interesting to contribute, my wife puts up with it, done deal usually.

But you\'ve got some entertainment for years ahead of you. Props man.

P.S. Hope those cubbies can make it out of the first round this year.
Jan,

Thanks for the comment. When you find that baseball nut it will be a match made in heaven. My gf and I have very little in common but it may be the reason we are still together. (I think she\'s a closet baseball fan though) - ChristopherMulligan

My winnings from last year and my gambling winnings were a nice down payment for our house. I let her share the winnings but I still have to hear about it. WTF?! - ChristopherMulligan

If my wife complains about any of the draft days/times, she doesn\'t get to enjoy the spoils of my success. The year I married her, I won football, basketball, and baseball so she loved this hobby. Then, I went on a 4 year dry spell (those meddling kids) until I found success again this year winning both baseball and football leagues. - Jason Collette

Now you all know that I had to come see what he wrote about me!

If Chris would just put down the baseball stuff for 2 days a week I would not complain. You need to understand that when he comes home after 12hrs at work he eats dinner that I made and then puts the plate in the sink and goes strait to the computer and looses all communication to the rest of the world.

I don\'t so much mind the whole thing I just loose him as soon as a game or a draft starts.Whenever we go somewhere we have to have the discussion \"What time do we have to be there? The game is on. is their a TV?\" - Lori Mills
