If you talk about a sleeper and it raises his value in your draft above where he should normally go then he is no longer a sleeper. However, most guys we all talk about as sleepers will be in a state of flux for the next few months. some will rise and no longer be sleepers but others will stay down and others will fall creating even more sleepers. so keep talking about sleepers (and all player values for that matter) so you are prepared with the knowledge to know who to grab when the time is right - SeanAgranov

ANY player who produces subtancially more value ,than the value spent on him at the

i\'d like to have the round-table discuss the definition of \"sleeper\" on tonight\'s show.
what exactly do you mean when you use the word \"sleeper\" ? - big o

Pitchers Targeting

On Bush you can never tell. He did have an ERA of 5.00 as you stated it had to drop ? Still he has talent.

Kuroda I like as well, the issue is there are rumors of an injured shoulder with kuroda. - Tony Cincotta

2 sleeper SP I will target this season are Dave Bush and Hiroki Kuroda.

My reasoning for Bush is simply his second half performance in 2008; ERA dropped from over 5 in the first half to 3.83 in the second half.
Kuroda is going to dominate the NL West hitters, plus second year in the majors, pitching half his games in Chavez Ravine....wow. - Shai

Cliff Lee

Cant wait to hear that Carl Pavano will be taking the role of Cliff Lee. In all seriousness is a guy a sleeper who comes back after a horrendus sesason.

The two guys I have in mind:

Aaron Harang
Ian Snell - Tony Cincotta
