Henderson is the greatest lead-off hitter of all-time, not to mention the most valuable impact player in rotisserie history.

Jim Rice is long overdue - his problems with the media have held up his rightful induction for far too long.

McGwire? If Pete Rose is denied entry for lying about gambling, then this guy should be kept out indefinitely as well for refusing to answer questions about steroid usage.

Morris? Sorry, only won 254 games with three 20-game seasons and no CYs. Also, his supposed great post-season record stands at 13-13 - hardly HOF worthy. No sustained dominance.

Everyone else? Some are on the bubble (Blyleven and Raines), but not HOFers IMHO. - RJM713

Henderson is the best leadoff hitter of all time, so that is a no Brainer.

Blylevin belongs. He put up amazing #s on awful teams and would have over 300 wins under different circumstances. He was way better than Sutton, Neikro and several other hall of famers too.

Although Rice is one of my favorites he just misses my vote, but I think he will get in this year.

My special writ-in vote is for Albert Belle, who was only eliminated last year because writers didn\'t like him. He had one of the best 10-year stretches in the history of the game and after Manny, Bonds and A-Rod is the next best hitter I\'ve seen in my 35 years as a fan. He was a jerk, but he was great and only writers hatred and an injury have kept him out - Trolley Car

How is it that Jim Rice was consistently pitched around and feared while he played but the day after he retired everyone says, \"bahh Jim Rice wasn\'t that great\"?

You know who was NEVER that great Donnie baseball. Quite possibly the most over rated position player in the history of baseball. If he had played for the Royals no one would even remember his name. Of course the most over rated Player of all time is Johnny Van Der Meer with back to back no hitters and still a career record below 500. - Will Smith

Henderson - no question
Rice - Road splits by other parks not as bad as many say - he hit .290 or better in half the parks he played in including .331 in Yankee stadium. Look at some other HOF\'ers from that era and they have similar splits when you look at each individual park. 3 HR crowns, 2 RBI crowns and 4 TB crowns offset the GIDP - Hey, he was paid to drive in runs.
He hit .310 lifetime with RISP - he gets my vote. - SB

Henderson-no brainer
Blyleven-should have been in years ago
Dawson-dominated right field in the 80\'s, great defense plus 470 HR
McGwire-there is no ban for steroids so shouldn\'t be banned from Hall
Murphy-2 time MVP and one of the best players in the NL of his generation
Lee Smith-former all time saves leader, if Hoffman gets in so should Smith, one of the most intimidating closers ever
Trammel-one of, if not, the best all-around at his position for more than a decade, Gammons says he\'s a no doubter

And from the vets committee, for heaven\'s sake, Ron Santo
